A great game that takes place during a period of history that often gets overlooked. If you've played any other Paradox games, then you should like this as well. The war goal system adds a bit of character to every war you wage. The politics for this game are unmatched in any other Paradox game I've played, and are get the enhancements they needed with the expansions. The only down side to this game is the calculation of populations. If you're running on an older model PC, then the late game can get extremely slow.
The expansions don't really feel like expansions, but they do fix quite a few things the game needed done. The sprites are a nice little bonus as well.
If you're a fan of the 19th century to early 20th century and grand strategy games, then this is the game you want, and the Victoria Collection is the version you want.
