REVIEWS

Toki Tori review

By yaten posted 7th July 2010

I bought this game because the title is catchy, first thing that popped in my mind when I read the title is 'chicken time' in Japanese, I don't know if it was intended by the developers to title it as such or its just a coincidence. The character also reminded me of chicken little. So basically, I bought it just because I got attracted by the title and the main character. But I'm sure glad I bought it because it is a real fun game. I'm not really a fan of puzzle games. Most of the time, I play because I want to rest my brain and not to stress it some more after a day of brain intensive work. But surprisingly, even though this game is puzzle type, it is quite refreshing. Its probably because of the cute graphics and a catchy background music. Unlike most puzzle games that only gives you a few levels of training then becomes suddenly too difficult, this one is gradual.

I just had a little problem installing it but that is probably because of SecuROM. When I installed it on the PC where I intended to play it, it didn't work. It kept asking me for the CD. I tried to install it on another PC and it worked, so I just copied the game back to my PC and everything is good. Aside from that minor setback when installing, everything is smooth afterwards.

I rated it 5 out of 5 and I really recommend this game for puzzle lovers and casual gamers.
