The Guild Complete Collection review
Great collection! The first game is quite different from its sequel and offers a lot of flavor, so you really get two games with their own unique style. The downsides: The Guild 1 looks aged (well, it is ...) and the interface is a little clumsy sometimes. Concerning The Guild 2, you only need to play Renaissance, as it includes all the Maps and features of the previous expansions.
The Guild Complete Collection review
Amazing collection. Unfortunately, I didn't know the expansions are stand alone. Like other reviewers below me have said, you really only need Guild II Renaissance (plus the original if you feel like checking out the differences). That said, I'm still glad I bought this. The Guild II is easily becoming one of my favorite games. A great mix of rts and simulation, with what must be endless game play.
The Guild Complete Collection review
The original Guild and The Guild 2 - Renaissance are the games you want out of this bundle. The expansions are standalone, so you don't need The Guild 2 to play Renaissance. However, there is no tutorial included for Renaissance, so you'll want to watch some tutorial videos online before playing the game, or you will feel supremely frustrated! These are great games, and I've enjoyed the multiplayer on Renaissance for hours and hours.
The Guild Complete Collection review
This is one the most enthralling collections of games that I ever played. it is quite simply amazing.
The business and simulation aspects of all these games are beyond interesting and had me hooked within 5 minutes.
Seeing as this is the whole package deal, I'll review the package itself.
It includes all "The Guild" you could need. Including the original and the complete second one. It's all up to date and is being sold at an amazing price.
I would definitely give this package deal a buy.
The Guild complete series
This is one of the best strategy/simulation games I have ever played.
and I recommend everyone to try it at least once, Because then you're hooked for live!
The Guild Complete Collection review
I purchased this package at a great price ..
The game is very great since the first release to the latest version, simulation actually very cool and gives an idea of some ancient history.
Trade begins to be great wealth, which help you win promotion to high positions. With money you can do everything from hiring killers to the bodyguard to displace competitors.
You can choose the target of the game such as the elimination of competitors or the race in the making of great wealth and etc....
The Guild Complete Collection review
A fantastic collection! All the Guild games in one spot! Guild 1 Gold may be aged but in many ways is superior to the sequel. While at first it may seem that you only need Renaissance from the Guild 2 games, the fact is that each Guild 2 game has unique maps. Pirates of the European Seas even has a objective based campaign. All in all, a very enjoyable and unique RPG/RTS/Sims type of series.
The Guild Complete Collection review
The Guild series is a interesting RTS and simulation setting in the medieval age. You get a character, pick his job, and dive right into the world. You try to survive in the world, interact with other people, expanse you family and bussinuss, compete with other families and ultimately make your family the strongest dynasty through generation. It's an interesting concept and the gameplay accomplish it well. Only minor downside is that you really only need The Guild Gold and Renaissance, which include most of the new feature from the other Guild II expansions. If you can catch a deal, everything will be great.
The Guild Complete Collection review
considering that this cost less than 2$ and i paid in blue coins i almost HAVE to love it! i like the way this game mixes elements to provide hours of gameplay that dont really become tedious. took me a min. to pick up, but as i played and my understanding of things grew i found it to be a rewarding experience.
The Guild Complete Collection review
This is such a great value for the money. A bundle with all of the individually amazing Guild series games. There is so much content to be experienced in this bundle that I was almost overwhelmed (it's a good thing). I'd already played a couple of the games before, but I couldn't resist such a great deal. =]
The Guild Complete Collection review
If you decide to get this game, plan ahead because you will need a lot of time on your hands: this is how much addictive this game is. Based on a mix of RTS and simulation, you’ll forge powerful dynasty and economy. The level of details is just amazing, and I even enjoyed the graphic. Being real-time, you might find yourself overwhelmed, but carefully planning your moves will help. It is also so much fun to see the power being transferred from one generation to the next. Buy this game now that it is on sale.
The Guild Complete Collection review
The Guild series is great. I think the dynastic aspect is what appeals to me the most. I have played games of the original The Guild 1400 into like 8 generations. Yes, of course, it isn't perfect and the AI could be much stronger in the original Guild game but I just can't help but love the hell outta them all.
This is a one-stop shop for all The Guild games and it is a HUGE bargain here at GG.
The Guild Complete Collection review
I'm very suprised that no one has mentioned that you can just buy The Guild II Renaissance for half the price and get the exact same thing (minus the origional 'The Guild' game). each expansion is stand alone and each expansion adds a very small amount of additional features to the previous game, so Renaissance is a stand alone combonation of all it's predecessors.
I enjoy this game and I don't regret my purchase. I just feel ripped off for having bough the whole series when I only needed to buy the final expansion (Renaissance).
