Civilization IV Colonization review

By Aubrehm posted 16th August 2011

A solid reinvention of Civilizations classic 90's counterpart using the Civ 4 Engine. Colonization never got the love of its award laden twin - at least not in terms of sequels - but this picks up seamlessly if you played the original. Gameplay is straightforward enough, build colonies rather than civs and take out your neighbours when you get the chance! For under a tenner when I bought it this is a strong title with loads of replay value and an easy learning curve that'll soon have you celebrating your Independence Day!
