Way of the Warrior review

By pspielman posted 22nd Jun 2011

Way of the Warrior is your basic, everyday, seen one seen 'em all hack n' slash fest. I've only had it for a day and I think I've seen all there is to it. You start in a "town" (it's a merchant and a village chief). The village chief gives you a quest and once you do it, you can move on to a new village. Other than that there's a whole bunch of monsters to kill and a lot of loot.

Also, you can't be a mage. As far as I can tell there's no spells just potions that heal and restore stamina. There's also no skill tree. Instead every few levels you can pick from a list of things you'd like to be more proficient in like heavy armor or a weapon class.

OK, all that being said I like the game, but I might get bored with it quick. I would only recommend it to people who think Diablo 2 and Titan Quest are the best games EVAH(that's me)and who played Barbarian type characters.
