World of Tanks is quite unique, I haven't played any other tank game like it. There aren't many games that focus solely on tanks to begin with. All tanks have different armor thickness and slope of armor, all which decide if your shots will penetrate or simply bounce off. Even how you position your tank matters, if the front of your tank is at an angle to the enemy it will be more difficult to penetrate than if you pointed it straight towards the enemy. Each tank also handles differently, everything from speed, acceleration and turning.

Among all those shooter out there, this one is special. It's action packed even you are not a soldier running from corridor to corridor. The choices of vehicles are impressive. More importantly, it is free. So it is a great choice to grab if you have some friends to go with you.

WoT is the most fun MMO that I've played. It isn't simply stats based (obviously the tanks have different stats, like armor, engine power, penetration of the gun), but you have to count with skill and a strategic mind. If you know how to play, you'll win even against much higher tiered tanks. The research system is also very nice, you get XP to umlock new modules and tanks. Overall, it's a very, very good "semi-casual" game.

Play WOT in my local version,and just know it exists in gg as a free game, I like tank simulation video game,I still remember my first tank sim ,Armored Fist,an old old game right,
WOT is a nice game,maybe some disappointed in some aspects,but if you like tank game and want to play with your friends, you can't miss this one,it will bring much happy hours to you

World of Tanks is a fun experience for those who enjoy tank combat. The amount of customization and classes one can choose from are both healthy. The matchmaking sometimes end up with imbalanced scenarios, but matches are about 20 minutes long and if you die early on you can leave the match and grab one of your other tanks and jump into another. You'll still get the rewards for playing both matches too.

Great game. Been playing it long before it showed up here on GG. For one, its free. Can't beat that. Two, it is incredibly in-depth.
The learning curve is surprisingly tough, and it gets much much more challenging as you advance through the tanks.
Highly recommend just trying it out. Can't beat the price right?
Needs Patching!
This would be an ok FTP Tank combat game. Except of course that it is buggy. When I last attempted to play it, I could not see any of the other tanks, ally or enemy, so I was getting shot at invisible tanks. Other than that, it isn't great, and a bit repetitive.

This game offers a very interesting mix of "complicatedness" and "straightforwardness". All the level-up, research and equipment menus can be a bit overwhelming when you first see them, but once you enter the battlefield, the gameplay becomes very fluid and easy to grasp. The controls are responsive, presentation is nice, and the maps offer reasonably varied terrain.
I have encountered some minor graphics glitches, but there seems to be nothing serious preventing you from having hours of fun.
