The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut review

The graphics are a bit outdated but it doesn't change the fact that this is a great RPG.

A great story line, good voice acting, nice characters that you can connect to.

The combat is very unique, there is a problem with it however. It's either you like it, or not.

Long side missions, which have a very good story of their own and unlike many other games they aren't just "Get me this item. Thanks".

For the price of $9.99? Hell yeah!

Amazing game. Great story line. Unique character concept that I haven't seen before. The necessary preparation before battles makes intel important and the battles challenging.

hands down one of the best RPG ever made.the level of detail from the character models to the level design is spot on. im only a couple hours into the game but i have only done a handful of story mission because the side mission are top notch quality. they don't just send u on delivery mission they have you doing meaning full tasks that make your feel like your part of the world the cd-software has created.

The Witcher is a wonderful RPG, I played the original version years ago and I am now playing the enhanced version again, having as much fun as I had before. Very interesting story, a challenging (if awkward) combat system, nice spells, nice dynamics. I true gem of an RPG that you can now experience for just a few bucks. Highly recommended.

Essentially this is the uncensored version of the game straight out of the box. If you were unaware that the game was censored by the publisher for the North American market, then it would possibly be good to warn you that this fantastic RPG does have some very adult themes including naked ladies.

That said, it's a game which deserves the accolades it received on release. It really is that good. I'm definitely not someone who loves cRPGs (turnbased is so much easier for old men with co-ordination problems) but I do make an exception for this title.

For the time, the graphics were very impressive and even now it's a beautiful game. The story arc and quests are intriguing. Your character makes choices where the consequences are rarely obvious nor morally straight forward. I've not read the books the game is based upon, but it's evident that this is a world with a rich background and it comes alive in the game. The only drawback I'd really mention is that crashes can be fairly common, so save often to avoid frustration.

If you've not played this game, immerse yourself and enjoy one of the finest RPGs made since cRPGs became the norm.

Fun game with a lot of stuff to do. Has a really good story. The enhanced edition improves the original game a lot by adding more polish and faster loading times to the game.

Amazing The Witcher pack! Includes 2 DLC + MapMaker, very good deal indeed. The Witcher is the best RPG of 2007, combines every aspect of RPG. Like most of other "best-of-the-year" games, this should be bought and played!
