TV Manager 2 (Premium version) review

By blitz81 posted 30th October 2011

Like most tycoon style games TV Manager throws you head first into the title roll of the game, in this case as the manager of a Television Station, where your goal is to run programs that keep the viewers entertained and the advertisers happy.

TV Manager 2 is a very simplistic game where you will purchase a variety of shows to air on your network (ie. movies, gameshows, tv series...) each has a genre and will appeal to a target audience. Following suit is the advertising department where you will accept contracts to air commericals in between shows, each contract has requirements that need to be met (ie. How often the commercial is shown, the ammount of viewers that see it.) meeting those requirements nets you the cash from the contract, so long as you have a regular incoming from advertising you can continue to purchase shows and keep your network on the airwaves.

While i like the idea of managing a TV Station the game did very little to keep me entertained and got very repetitive very fast. If this is something you'd be even remotely interested in i'd suggest checking out a game called M.U.D. TV first as it has everything TV manager 2 does with alot more options, freedom to be creative and a multiplayer option.
