TV Manager 2 (Standard version) review

By jamesslayton posted 24th January 2011

This sequel is definitely a lot better than its predecessor. The advertisments are more detailed. The shows/movies are now based off real ones. The artwork/graphics are greatly improved with detail and color. The financial structure is more believable. The functionality and replay value are greatly improved.

What I didn't like was the limited number of shows and movies to pick from. I would have preferred at least a thousand. Also, I didn't like the music and sounds because they seem more geared towards children than adults. Another thing that I didn't like was that the game isn't too realistic (although the realism is improved over the original). It is by no means a TV station simulator. My final complaint is the lack of a background story ("Save the station" isn't a story, but a goal).

I honestly believe this game deserves four stars. The game is well done overall. It achieves the goal of being a fun TV game.
