Stalin - the General Secretary of the Soviet Communist Party - is already 72 years old, but he is still able to arouse fear in his subordinates and subjects. The most reliable way to do away with the aged ruler and usurp his power is to use a powerful secret weapon right during the Bolsheviks Party assembly...

The main character - the KGB officer Gleb Suvorov - finds himself involved in the dramatic events against his own will. But he must prevent the explosion and rescue the lives of the innocent people.

The Stalin Subway: Red Veil review

Frustratingly difficult first person shooter, sequel to Stalin Subway. Limited weapon choices, silly level design, dumb AI; try this if you like the setting maybe. If not there are many other shooters out there.

I found this game incredibly difficult. I am not sure if I just suck but I died very easily so there is a steep learning curve to this game, move slowly and methodically. It doesn't really help that the enemy seems to frequently spawn directly behind you.

The Stalin Subway: Red Veil review

The Features written in Gamersgate here is nothing but a direct copy from original The Stalin Subway(SS1), NOT FOR THIS GAME, Stalin Subway Red Veil(SS2).

This is a sequel of that Stalin Subway, where you play as Gleb(hero in SS1)'s girlfriend or wife or someone.

There's VERY few weapons ingame unlike SS1, you only get 2 pistols, 2 machineguns, 2 rifles and 2 grenades. 3 weapons(except grenades) carriable at once.

Enemies' AI are dumb, tightly scripted but their accuracy and damage is more than enough to down you in few seconds.

Plus, bullets(both yours and enemy's) ricochet on metal surfaces which can easily kill you but you can't really exploit to kill things without exposing yourself.

There are almost no health/armor powerups lying around(you'll be fully healed and/or armored in beginning of some levels), so you need to hope that enemies drop some first-aid kits (and they're in random chance).

Level design is realistic...in bad ways. There aren't any directions and things so it's easy to lose your way even if those maps are linear.

There are less than 10 levels to fight through, which is thanksful.

Graphic is great even for B-class shooter. Sound is crap but I personally liked the Music used in Red Square level(I can say it's one of the hardest drive-by shooting level in FPS history. no joke!)

It's PAINFULLY hard. even on Easy difficulty you'll find yourself dead for thousand times(But I'm man enough to beat it in hard!).

Don't ever play this FPS unless you're masochistic enough to try something "seemingly impossible".
