Titan Quest Gold Edition review

In my opinion, still the best Diablo clone to date. There's a heap of mods avaible for it and the graphics still hold up nicely. Item variety is massive, dual spec classes for different combinations, combat has a good feel to it, but it could've been better. The price at this point is definately right though, and if you're in to the genre it will be money well spent.

I like the setting for this game. It is a refreshing change from normal hack and slash fantasy settings. As others have said, it is much like Diablo, which is a good thing. This game is even better then the more recent game Torchlight, another Diablo clone. There are a few aspects to the game play that are mildly annoying to me, but it is still a five star effort for its time, but only merits an honest four stars now now.

Titan Quest is probably the closest a game has ever come to being anywhere near Diablo II for me. The loot system is in place, and just about everything you can think of from Diablo II is there. You don't choose a class but instead choose specializations which further allow you to customize your character. The only downside is the lack of a major online community, people still play, but it's not nearly as large as this game deserves. Expect a sweeping quest across Greece/Egypt/the Orient, and even Hades in the Immortal Throne expansion.

Flush your old Hack'n'Slash games in the toilet - here comes their dethroner. Big... no, come back - HUGE world, uncountable hours of playing time, three levels of difficulty (with hell-challenging EPIC level), tons of items and possibility to pause your current game at any given time. Ground some mythical creatures!

It's a nice "Diablo-like" hack'n slash, with good graphics a solid gameplay.

The setting is very interesting and it go from greece to asia passingo through Egypt.

You can choose from two specialization for your Hero with many different possibilities of personalize your gaming style.

Add to that thousands of monsters to kill and a lot of equipmento to choose from and you have a solid entertaining game

2 great games in a batch but I'm still waiting for diablo 3. It's a typical hack and smach game but the graphics is good and the control is user friendly. It's not as good as diablo but still you it worths some money. But this on a discount is recommended!

From the creator of Age of Empire series, this is quite possibly the best Diablo clone out there.

Smack smack smack your way through hordes of greek mythological creatures. Great fun.

Very good hack-n-slash game, based in Ancient Greece. Lots of missions to complete. Does get a little repetitive, but on the whole, very enjoyable. Recommended for pretty much everyone.

At first I thought this would be another grinding, killing and 'Lord of Loot' game, but then I was pleasantly surprised. While not as in depth as I would like most of my RPG's such as the Elder Scroll games and so on, but this is a highly enjoyable game.

The graphics are nice, not as shiny as some games but they run smooth, look nice and don't cause a great deal of lag, and that's the point.

Finding this combo pack on sale at 75% off was I think a great find. I have played and bought the game before but its nice to have a permanent digital copy available to have.

Overall I was impressed by the quality for a 'bargain' game. And the setting was something a bit fresher than I'm used to and enjoyed it very much.

Over all I would give this a 4/5
