Enjoyable game what the graphics is lacking in the game sure makes up for in it's pure simplistic views of the farming world. A good game for getting the youngsters into gaming with a game recquiring patience as there is no speed up time function and crops have to ripen before harvesting. all in all i'd say an ideal starter before you let your kids on facebook with farmville LOL

It costs around 8$ and i think it is worth at most that. I spent about 2 hours on it so far and probably that will be the last 2 hours i will spend.

You take on the role of a farmer and try to raise crops and feed your animals, which you then resell in the market. The game is relatively easy to get into and for a 8$ game the graphics are decent.

I guess the game can be appropriate to kids and in a certain respect can be even considered educational, but overall it is pretty boring, even for a casual game.

I liked this game. I played it through to the end (bought the farmhouse addition). Once I found out how simple the chores could be done using the task screen, I was able to make money a lot quicker, and manage things more easily! However, after countless hours of playing it, I am not sure I felt rewarded for my efforts. The only reward I seemed to get was a bigger farmhouse. I was hoping to expand my farming operations, but you can't with this game. The biggest disappointment is that you cannot drive the tractor. You simply watch from behind are your character does all the driving for you. Still, you can double click the tractor which allows the job to be done instantly. What I really enjoyed about this game is taking care of the animals and growing vegetables in the gardens. There is so much to do in this area, that you are constantly occupied.

I rate this game three stars. There is a lot you can do, but there is also a lot you can't that you would expect from a farming game.

I bought this for my niece and she loves it.

It is not too complex for her (age 10) overall a good purchase.

This is a nice little farm simulation game. You grow crops, tend to animals and sell your produce to gain capital. With that money you can buy more animals or invest in your farming machinery (tractor, harvester) to gain access to you fields, which yield much more money.

But don't expect too much depth from this game though.

All in all, if you're into farming games, this is not a bad choice.

You get what you pay for with this game. While there is enough for someone to challange themselves and get some enjoyment out of their own challange, there is little in the game itself to challange you.

On to specifics. The graphics are sad. I know the game is not a big budget production, but there is no need for the graphics to be so pathetic. I have seen better graphics on games for windows95.

The tutorial is sad. There are 4 main pieces to the game, and only tutorials for 3. Not that the game is very deep, but the tutorial is so shallow the best way to learn is just be observant.

Oddly enough, as light as this game is graphically and everything, it bogged my computer down. Its not my computer since it handles some massive games easily.

In the end, unless you are really desperate for a cheap farming sim, I advise you to pass on this one. Its not worth you, or your kid, to put up with the laggy and visually unappealing game such as this.

It is nice and fun game and has no bugs or problems. You can manage a farm and take care of animals and grow vegtables and fruits and then sell them on the market. You buy seeds, animal feed and other requirments including hiring staff. I wish the game offers larger scale farming I believe this is possible because I am still new playing it. Its lots of fun and I wish some tasks could be skipped rather then diging and watching.

I recommend it if u like farming and animals its cool game really.
