Fairly linear, and like many point and click adventures, the solution to your puzzles can be buried deep within a few pixels of what you're looking at...although occasionally tedious, the art and ambience are still fantastic, and it's worth the time of anyone who enjoyed the first game.

A very nice sequel in the series where the developer did much, much better along the lines of the story and characters, both which I fell in love with. A traditional point-and-click adventure game that is a must buy for fans of the genre. I would consider this one of the finest works in the genre, and is a must play if you played the first, and you get so much more depth and detail. The characters are much more lively this time around, and easy to love and even easier to like. Pick it up, and even pick up the original while you're at it. You will love them.
