Boasting of the largest combat radius, the Violator is a far-reaching, slow-firing, single-target tower that specializes in heavy damage. Sanctum is a great first-person tower defense game, and one of the hardest parts is knowing when to balance ground vs. air defense. With the Violator tower, you get a high powered but slow firing turret that targets both. At higher levels, it's great for nailing the highly resistant airborne and ground targets.

This DLC brings you a weapon that combines an extreme shooting distance and deadly power. As ususal friend having purchased this DLC can help you upgrade this tower. The projecticle fired by the Violator reaches its target instantly, making it effective versus even the fastest enemies. I have discovered that it is less lethal against enemies with weak points since the Violator aims at the center of the ennemies rather on their weak spot.

The Violator is an attack drone which shoot at very long range. I don't really use this one so much as I tend to spam Gat/lazors and AAs. This towers seems to be a replacement/upgrade to the AA tower, however it seems to randomly just bounce off creeps. Don't really have much to say about this as it's just mah. All and all, if you want to collect all the tower pick this up, over wise wait for a sale. Note: if you are wondering you just get a key to enter into your steam client to unlock the DLC.

Not sure why I have to pay more to play the game that I just bought. The violator is an interesting gun (and an interesting name for my Uncle Charles - don't let him babysit your kids!), but I think an unnecessary price to pay for a gun in the game. Why wasn't it just included from the start?

This tower is a must, combined with damage amp, it will rip almost all enemies apart, but like the other posters say, it will suffer when dealing with little swarms(the little monsters that look like roaches). It is at least in my book an essential item. So buy it!

A tacticlly valuable weapon, which fills a strategic void from the first game by providing Sky and her sisters-in-arms with an efficient way to take care of Gliders, since the towers shoot high-damage projectiles with pinpoint accuracy. It suffers against larger groups, but, since it provides an efficient counter to one of the most dangerous enemies, I'd say it's worth the price.

The Violator (nice name by the way) is a pretty great 'tower'. It has a range of 11 at level 0 (the Gatling tower is 3.9 at 0 for comparison) and pretty nice damage to boot plus the ability to target ground and air. It DOES fire quite slowly though at a rate of .1 rounds per second at base level.

From my experience, every game can use a rail-gun and Sanctum is no exception.
