Two new regions are waiting to be explored by you. There are new quests and puzzles to solve, dangers to overcome, mighty foes to defeat and new items to acquire. In short – everything a true hero can wish for!
The legendary Crystal Region of the Seraphim lies to the northwest of Ancaria. Only the best hunters will survive on the hunting ground of the winged ones. Hidden by impenetrable jungle for centuries, lies the horribly scarred Cursed Forest and a terrible mystery that can only be unravelled by a true hero.
If you would like to travel to either of these new and exciting regions, then proceed to Thylysium, the capital of the elfin kingdom. There at the harbour, search for the captain who will allow you passage to the respective part of the world. And now, enjoy “Ice & Blood“!

Sacred 2 Ice & Blood review
For fans of Sacred 2 (and why wouldn't you be?) this is a hit and miss affair. The expansion adds two areas to the game and a new class.
The Dragon Mage is primarily a magic based class with good close combat abilities to boot. As with all classes you have your class quest and the two alignment quests too.
The two new areas added are really the weak link here. Although fully developed with their own quests and monsters they lack the same sense of place of the original locations, and at times it's hard to escape the feeling that they're essentially reskins of the same area. Nonetheless there's a fair amount of content here for your old and new characters to explore.
Also likely to be appreciated is the addition of various minor interface tweaks. Characters created with the expansion installed can now be customised to an extent (though unfortunately this won't apply to existing characters) while the Imp which was previously Collector's Edition only is now available for everyone.
All in all it's a solid effort that expands the game but sticks largely with a more of the same formula rather than adding anything new. If you're a fan of Sacred 2 then this is worth getting for the tweaks to the game alone.
