I brought Sacred 2 on the PS3 and loved it, really wanted to try out the Dragon Mage class and the items/areas you couldnt acess on the console versions.

Well I still couldn't access those areas. While Sacred 2 Install'd just fine installing the expansion is a mission in it's own. You need to patch the game in order to install the expansion. With so many patches to chose from and a clearly broken patcher I spent a (wasted) weekend trying to get patches to work, with the only fixes being told on forums being "uninstall then reinstall" which I did over 12 times over the weekend. This was a wasted £30 and I will NEVER purchase an Ascaron game again.

I'm sure it's brilliant for the lucky who have got this working but patching it is a game in itself it's allmost as if Ascaron want you to hate them.

1/5 Very dissapointed, would of been nice if they couldve at least done the patches correctly.

Sacred 2 Gold Edition review

The Long awaited Sequel to Sacred 1.

Huge world lots of things to explore and in a good spirit of Rpg. The Multiple Difficulti levels and new Physics graphics details makes it a nice thing to see and some what replayable experiance.

Some bad parts would be are some minor buggs to be worked out. but does not affect the game overall that i could see. Awesome animation work on the live towns such as Bards in the towns wich gives quite the live feeling to it.

music and sound is top notch defently nothing quite like it walking into town and hear a Tale or music art from the local Bard.

Positive features: New updated nice looking graphics!

Intresting story if u like the lore.

Many quests on a Large world ( world is quite large )

sound and music is very good.

Live towns in a sense

Negative features: Low on patches minor buggs.

The monsters aint the smartest things u kill.
