GAME SUMMARY

Lunnye Devitsy

Rating: 3.8 (36 votes cast)

Lunnye is a mystery/puzzle platformer. You play as a little alien that falls off the moon and you have to make your way back. But it's a lot tougher than it sounds, take it from me, I'm the one who made it! The objective is to find your way back to the moon using 6 possible exits on a large mountainside.

The player cannot die in this game; just explore, collect and solve puzzles.

It's also in celebration of the moon landings, which was all just over 40 years ago.

I found Lunnye to be a charming platformer. No direction is given to your character which gives the game a mysterious atmosphere. Players simple explore the world. The music, art, and sound effects are very minimalistic, but I felt this added to the atmosphere.

An interesting atmospheric platform game, in Nifflas' first titles style. It is more puzzle oriented and, in general, it is a more traditional game than works like 'Knytt' or 'Within a Deep Forest'. Anyway, if you liked these games, you should try this too.

Lunnye Devitsy is a exploration/plataform/relaxing game. The goal of the game is to report our character to the moon whitout any fight because we don't fight and there are no enemies in all world. The ways to do this are multiples and some are not simple but they are all focused in exploration. There is a bug with the cam that does not move properly in certain situation but it's nothing to worry about. I don't like very much this game but the price are very low and the musics are ok....so if you like exploration and good music this game is for you.

You have to be in the right frame of mind for this one. It's... well, it's very distinctive: the goals are nebulous and the main thing is just to go explore and see what there is to see. Sure, your character needs to get back home, and sure, eventually you'll make it there given enough perseverance, but winning isn't really the point. It's all atmosphere and no substance, but I like that sort of thing. Maybe you do too -- if so, give it a go. You'll enjoy it.

This is an interesting indie platformer focused on exploration. If you've never played an indie platformer, they are often short, atmospheric and have a unique charm or idea. This game fits that mold rather well. You don't fight with enemies or do a lot of the things that the platforming genre is known for. Lunnye Devitsy focuses on the raw experience of exploring. You have a few basic moves (generally running and jumping), and they give you a somewhat large, highly atmospheric environment to explore. The world is just the right size to keep you from getting lost, with several distinct-looking areas with different music. But as you continue to play, you'll memorize the layout. The challenge lies in finding ways to get back to the moon. There are a few characters that you must interact with who will help you get to the moon, some platforming will get you there, and some collecting. It will provide a few hours of enjoyment, but games like this are for people who aren't looking for breakneck action. Think of a scavenger hunt based around platforming. The game is more than that, but if that sounds frustrating to you, the game might not be for you. Lunnye Devitsy will give you a very cool, chill experience for a low price.

I was offput by this game. I guess because I got a bit tired of running back and forward to find a way to go to the moon. Yes, there is a premise: you fall from the moon and you have to get back there. There are 7 ways to do that and that´s it. Some of them are relatively easy. There is one of them ridiculously difficult. It was not about the overall challenge, but there is one thing you have to do that is not intuitive (I saw the solution in a Youtube video).

In my case I thought it lacked the sense of progression that a deeper story would give, I think.

The other down side is of technical nature: the game has a small pause every 3 or so seconds. It is annoying. Probably the problem is in Multimedia Fusion 2, which was used to develop the game.

On the plus side, I loved the soundtrack. Also the overall art is simple but very absorbing and the playground you have at your disposal is big and very well thought.

If you like a simple puzzle/platform game, this is for you.

a incredible great platform, it resemble for instance game like braid or the path but with an unique and oniric style

it's not the difficulty or the pure gameplay the point of this game but the sound, the graphic and the artistical component in general, if you care of this aspects is the game that suits for you.
