Jagged Alliance: Back in Action DLC: Desert Specialist Kit review

By Jozor posted 25th May 2012

To begin, it gives you one of each item after the first day, but you can't buy them, which is a shame, other wise I'd have given it 4/5, this means it does effect the game ballance early game as it gives you instant access to a rifle & kevlar helmet which are more mid game.

Now moving on to this kit specificly:

This pack is probally the best of the Specialist Kit's.

The SCAR-L does more damage than the CAR-15's and has more durability, while using the same 5.56 ammo.

The clothing and camo is more suited towards mid-late game terrain, as early game area is jungle/dirt, you'll have to buy 5.56 from a shop as enemies early game don't drop it.

Also intresting to note is the fact that the camo is US Desert 6 pattern, but in completely the wrong scale on the uniform.
