This is quite possibly the worst game in the world. Yes, you can manage a team (yea! done in NBA 2kx), you can organize tournaments (who cares) and you can watch your team play. Wait, what? the graphics are ten years out of date: the whole mess is embarassing. If you want to buy a pc basketball game on the cheap look for 2k9 or 2k10...but stay away from this horrible pathetic mess!!!

International Basketball Manager Season 2010/11 review

A good attempt, i have played allot of basketball manager games, however none of them are really that good, probably this is the best one out there, but it is nowhere near the level of FM2010 or FIFA Manager, which are the football counterparts.

What i like less is that there is no manual at all, no guides, there is no editor to mold the game world to your liking. The tactics do not seems to help much, one thing i like less is that you cannot determine beforehand how much time each player will participate in the match, so unless you simulate every single one, you have little control of matches you choose to see just the result.

It also seems to be a pretty tough game to play, i had a team with Jalen Rose, Kevin Durant, Brandon Roy, Aldridge, Lopez as my starters with a packed bench with players such as J.Smith, Rubio etc, i still managed just a 5th place and 1st round playoff exit. There is no easy or hard levels to pick from, so i guess it will be tough in general.

The plus is that it has a relatively easy to use interface, quite understandable to anyone which played manager games before. All the teams, players are also there, so it is familiar to basketball fans, it does have potential and i hope they build on this one for the next version.
