I'm Not Alone review

This game looks like it would have been really fun to be honest. I'm glad I picked it up for only 10 bucks. But the one thing that stops it from being fun is the horrible frame rate I get.

My specs are CPU: athlon64x2 435 GPU: Radeon hd 4870 with 2 gigs of dual channel ram.

I've lowered the settings on everything and I still get the crappy frame rate of about 10. Worst part is, even at maxed out settings I get the same frame rate.

So I have no idea whats with this game but a frame rate like that is completely unplayable. (Especially when I know its not my computer)

Last review is accurate for the most part, though I think 'shooter' is probably pushing it. To compound the games obtuse puzzles there is the bad translation to english that masks many of the puzzle solutions.

If you have bought it (like me) and are struggling, visit game faqs, there is no guide but the thread about the game answers many of the earlier puzzles.

This game is a solid F, the worst of the worst.

Now it's time to list why:

1.No matter how powerful your machine is you will be waiting to load your game at least 80 to 120 seconds on any resolution settings you choose-highest to the lowest.

2. The only way to save your game is upon exiting the game. Therefore, you will be exiting-saving-reloading a whole lot

3.If you choose not to save-good luck-because if one of the monsters kills you you'll have to repeat the whole level from the beginning.

4.There are no explanations of the weapon technique-no help from the interface

5.You can die a hundred times attempting to use a crossbow successfully

6.There are apparently no walkthroughs for this game; no mods or trainers.

7.This game masquerades as an adventure game. It's nothing of the kind. It is a shooter and belongs in that genre

8.False advertising leads adventure gamers like me to purchase games like this. I hate shooters and would never have wasted $40 dollars on this had I known this

9. I was unsuccessful at getting past the first chapter. The monsters were too strong. After 100 tries at killing them, mixed in a healthy 30 minutes of loading time, this was a complete waste of time, swindle and an expensive swindle at that
