My eJay Hip-Hop 6 experience

By phalxor posted 14th March

I am no music program pro, I've used fruity loops, cool edit, sonic foundry acid.

Pros - Fully featured. Do just about anything. Solid program. Lotta samples.

Cons - The interface combined with the resolution make for a frustrating experience. Tools and options are not laid out in a recognizable easy to find way. Seemed like things were at my fingertips with all sorts of hot keys and what not but I wanna get right into things, not learn a bunch of hotkeys. I suppose I just need to give it some more time but after searching through the samples I couldn't find too many to work with and not being able to find a place to put samples on a drum machine or cut them up(not take parts of the audio and mix them up, an actual feature and seemingly the only one in regards to editing samples..good for choppedNscrewed remixes?)

Overall - I will revisit it someday and give it more time I found the other audio programs I used before this much easier to use, that being said this program can't really be compared to the originally mentioned programs because it is more of a fully featured song suite and for that it deserves more stars than I am probably giving it.

3/5 minus taxes

A fun little audio editing suite

First of all I can confirm that it still works on win7 systems, so don't worry about that. Other than that I'm having fun with it, the samples are OK, there is also alot of different effects available to screw around with, the controls are a bit weird but you can configure them. Overall, I am enjoying it.
