Why fight crime when you can kill it.

Gotham City has gone insane! Batman is up to his pointy ears in unwanted "helpers" determined to dish out their own bloodthirsty brand of vigilante justice in his name (and image). Meanwhile, a small army of self-appointed junior Jokerz has turned the streets of Gotham into a barmy battlefield of bullets, bodies, and bear traps.

Packing more customization than you can shake a shotgun at, you get to choose the guns, gadgets and even the hairdos that fit your personality and play style. 1000 levels of player advancement overflowing with upgrades and unlocks

A robust level up system lets you unlock all the items required to make your impostor as crazy as you desire. Great Game! It's a shame barely anybody plays it nowadays on PC. The game is really funny with its crazy characters and weapons. My only concern is that some weapons are useless garbage and some are very powerful, but overall it's fantastic game for the price. I've had a lot of hours spent on this title. Highly Recommended!

Run around and do crazy stuff in Gotham City, but there's a twist, you either play a Batman fanatic or Joker fanatic. And the different teams hate each other. Shocking...

Fly around, roller skate your way through, use grappling hooks or inflating boots and a whole arsenal of weapons from Shurikens, Boomerangs and Katanas to rocket launchers, freezing rays and machine guns to kill the opposing team in the most efficient, funny, and crazy way!

Build your own costumes to resemble the Joker or the Batman in the way you imagine them!

Now with a new and improved matchmaking system which makes joining games much faster, and not to mention joining in-game.

New maps and weapons have been added make this game even more crazy!

Recommended to everyone who likes first person team-based shooters!

Very fun game, a cross between call of Duty and Team Fortress. Very wacky and zany weapons, tons of progression. Gonna have to knock points of it because it does take awhile to find games.

COD:MW3 meet TF2 meet a comic book convention, not sold yes? Huh. You play a weirdo who likes to dress up as either a batman or a joker clone, and with a big gun shoot the over side. Kill more than the over side and win. Your toon can be highly customized as can your weapons, however there is a Microsoft points systems to buy XP boosts and extras (aka looks pretty does nothing) swag. All and all, it's a fun game for anyone who enjoy arena style game play but isn't the 1337 jerks we all know and love. This game use GFWL but that never bothers me, also note non-icore PCs (i3, i5, i7 or AMD equivalent) will struggle to run this game, but for reasons beyond me, as it doesn't look that good, it's no BF3 after all. A 2.0 Ghz D2C will get about 17FPS regardless of GPU. Just a warning. However, there is a patch that's supposed to fix this, still beware.

Flawed, but very fun.

Gotham City Impostors might be considered a bit of a diamond in the rough. Underneath a fair amount of annoyances and problems, there's a very solid, incredibly fun shooter. The action is fast-paced, with a wide variety of tactics and counter-tactics available to the player. A persistent unlock feature and heavy customization provide that ever-tantalizing carrot-on-a-stick that keeps the player always wanting to play just one more game.

That said, it has a lot of issues. Currently, it has a very low FOV, which can be a big problem for a lot of users. The matchmaking system is clunky and annoying, and at the moment there are no dedicated servers. Some of these issues are about to be addressed in a new patch, and hopefully the FOV issue will be addressed as well.

Despite the problems, I keep coming back for more. It's the most fun I've had in a competitive multiplayer shooter in a very long time.

I enjoyed GCI so much. Call of Duty with a sense of humor, tons of unlockables, graphics is bright and colorful (team fortress-like graphics) and you can level up your character up to level 1000? the only downside is it's a multiplayer-only game and it uses GFWL. buy this game if you love competitive shooters. I'M BATMAN!
