Humanity is at war against vampires and deviants. Mankind's last line of defense is a group of children trained to wield powerful magic that can rival the demonic hordes, but at the cost of most of their lifespan. Likened to bullets of a gun, they are known as the ‘Gun Bullet Children’.

The time is NOW! A vampire invasion force has been detected in the airspace above Tokyo Portal 5. Preliminary reports indicate over 500 vampires and accompanying Killings Dolls with reinforcing hordes of deviant humans. The first line of defenses has been obliterated and the Gun Bullet Children are scrambled to launch a counter-assault and stop the invasion.

Very confusing as first as I did not see the English manual as promised in the description. Completely in Japanese, I was very confused. However, after playing, I was able to figure out the controls, and what was left was a very solid Bullet Hell game, as promised. Would be great if it could get translated, as I'm left clueless about the plot in the later games.

Ahhh, I really hate to say it since i love bullet hell games but this games is not that good. 3 characters, with different abilities. ok it lacks a little with the game characters but each look smotth and has some kind if personality. Gameplay is..... eh. It has some really good potential! Like every bullet hell this game has some kick ass music to it.

art sytle is of course animeish; no surprise. but the game it self is buggy. On normal difficulty this game seems to ramp up more bullets in 5 seconds than touhou but... They sometimes dont hit you even you charge in.I have literally charged into more than hundreds of bullets and... nothing. No damage whatsoever. Thats really bad for a bullet hell. Another bad thing is, No translations. Everything is in Japanese. if you understand or read japanese(by using numbers and symbols) then you're fine. If you dont then you dont know the story. Right now.... This game is not so much worth the price even for $3. It's not fun if you dont get massacred or understand the story. so I say avoid this game if you want a real bullet hell but for a very short fun time, go ahead. say dont purchase until it gets fixed.

It is a basic Shump which compels to the standard.

3 Characters, each one with different abilities and a nice bomb animation.

The keyboard controls are really smooth but the problem is that you cannot rebind the keys. Meanwhile you cannot use a Xbox 360 controller since you cant go upward and sideways at the same time.

The graphics are good and stay constant while the game progress.

There is not official translation it seems and the Japanese letters wont display correctly the OS language is set to "Japanese". So, nice if you know Japanese, otherwise go read the story in other place.

Last but not least, there are better games like Touhou which take the concept of Shump to the extreme. But, it is a good game overall. 3$ is a good price. It has 5 stages with constant action and variety of enemies.
