Brilliant simulation of country management, without match so far... Simple interface, long gameplay, which might upset or bore some players, more in the mood for battles (Total War Series). The economic and social development tools are detailed and some might also argue that there's too much micromanagement.

All I can say about that is that I love the micromanagement system, and I believe the development of a nation has much more to do with this type of game than with epic battles. The expansions add depth and I'm eagerly awating another release (which will be most certainly even more detailed), as this series has grown every game it was launched. 5 Stars, as I don't think the competition gets even close to this game.

Hello to everyone. I got to say that i am following this game right from the start when was released and also a fan of this game. Just got a MAC and thought that i should carry this game with it and see some of the new add-ons (last two) which i didnt have a chance to came across yet. If you like strategy games and loves history, then there is no dount about buying this game. Tousands of possibilities how to play, i will and i have always spend hours and hours playing this game. So if you think on buying, just buy and dont think! I hope you will agree later that this was a great desicion
