If you're into trucking driving simulators, then you really can't go wrong with ETS. Setting up your trucking company, expanding into other countries and transporting the different types of cargo while avoiding penalties is quite fun. The graphics are very good.

This has got to be the best truck simulator I've played. You deliver goods from one city to the next in order to make a profit.

The game takes place in Europe and the UK, you choose a region to start in then must spend money to unlock new regions, buy new trucks and upgrade your truck.

Along the way you must get fuel and sleep. Though the sleep system in this game isn't perfect, I like it better than the 18WOS games since the screen will simply black out periodically when you're tired but you can still drive for as long as you want, you're not forced to sleep.

If you have any interest in trucking I haven't found a better trucking game yet, so I believe it's definitely worth a buy.

It is a nice game and rich of beautiful scenes. You buy a truck in the game and then work on transporting different kind of goods from cities to cities or sometimes to different countries. What makes the game really cool is that like real life you must follow the traffic rule or else you will get fines. Moreover, you must also repair your truck in an accident, you can also paint the truck the color you like and add the upgrades you desire. In addition, another real cool feature is you need to take rest from driving too long and you also need to fill fuel in the truck. Its really a nice game and fun to play.

This game shines in its career mode where you achieve certain goals to up its ranking latter from Novice to Master. These goals include delivering a certain number of cargo undamaged, driving a certain number of miles or not getting any tickets. Another area that stands out is that you have to buy rights to travel between countries (you start out with two). In addition, you have to get a special license to transport certain types of goods such as hazardous. The features help it stand out, and give it a name in the trucking simulator genre.

What I didn't like was physics not were realistic. The scenery, while beautiful, was fairly limited.

In addition, you can't hire driver or own your own trucking company.

Despite its flaws, this game is a winner. It introduces enough new concepts to make up for its short comings.

It's ok I suppose though it's one of those games that quickly becomes a touch too repetitive, the towns are mostly the same set up, the programmers could of made it either a bit more random or life like, the truck catalogue isn't that great. Good if you want a game that you just want to sit in front of and not really do that much. Also they really should have the patches made upto date on this as that does too let it down.

Great game if you like this kind of games, altho I guess it might be a bit low on "action" for most gamers.

Should mention that there is a new patch out (v1.03) adding the UK continent in addition to some new minor roads in europe.

Why isn't the patch linked from the "my games" section? Seen it on a lot of other games.
