Don't Get Angry! 3 review

By Carnival73 posted 7th February 2011

There isn't a ton that I can say about Don't Angry's game play other than copying and pasting this quote from its description

---

"Dont Get Angry 3 is similiar to the boardgame Ludo but with a variety of gameplay options that makes it a lot more interesting."

----

But I can tell you that it is an idea that works very well especially if you have a room mate or sibling whom owns a copy as well and their own computer or laptop so that you can directly connect to them via peer to peer.

This is also enjoyable solo as the AI is quite clever and there enough options to mix and make each game a bit different.

Graphically the playing pieces are represented as cute little characters with many different animation sequences triggered through using various enhancement cards that you acquire during a match.

A little bloody at times but all in good cartoon fun.

The reason I purchased this for myself is that I tend to like original dice and card games. I previously purchased Montjoie! http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-MONTJOIE/montjoie and although that is much richer and deeper game for $20 this still feeds my craving for skirmish games involving randomness and surprise.

If you're a board, dice and card game enthusiast like myself this is one to keep on your eye on but I will admit that when deeper games like Bellatorus and Spectromancer exist at more budgeted prices, this is one to catch when it pops up from time to time in GG's Offers section.

4 out of 5 for game play - steep price for value drops it back one notch.

I bought Dont Get Angry! 3 after playing the first version of the game. I have a problem playing it on my desktop computer running a 64 bit version of Windows 7, but it works great on my laptop which has a 32 bit version of Vista.

Dont Get Angry 3 is similiar to the boardgame Ludo but with a variety of gameplay options that makes it a lot more interesting. The graphics are acceptable for the price you pay and the 3d environment certainly adds a fun dimension to this game!

You can choose your character and play against human opponents or the computer, and it is a lot of fun watching your opponents being sent back home or jumped upon ninja style in slow motion. If you like playing, Ludo Dont Get Angry 3 is a must have for light hearted computer gaming entertainment.
