From the Makers of Mass Effect™, Star Wars®: Knights of the Old Republic™, and Baldur’s Gate™ comes an epic tale of violence, lust, and betrayal.

The survival of humanity rests in the hands of those chosen by fate. You are a Grey Warden, one of the last of an ancient order of guardians who have defended the lands throughout the centuries. Betrayed by a trusted general in a critical battle, you must hunt down the traitor and bring him to justice.

As you fight your way towards the final confrontation with an evil nemesis, you will face monstrous foes and engage in epic quests to unite the disparate peoples of a world at war.

A romance with a seductive shapeshifter may hold the key to victory, or she may be a dangerous diversion from the heart of your mission. To be a leader, you must make ruthless decisions and be willing to sacrifice your friends and loved ones for the greater good of mankind.

Dragon Age: Origins UK (Mac) review

First of all, Dragon age Origin is better than Dragon age II,

This game has more depth than the sequal because dragon age II is more user friendly, but the story itself i prefer dragon age origin, simply because that you can actually choose 3 different races, in II, you can only be human and different race have different storyline,

strongly recommend this game if you a RPG nutter=]

Dragon Age: Origins UK (Mac) review

The game is wonderfully written, with your character becoming intertwined with sub plots continuously, moving the game away form repetitiveness and from becoming boring.

There are loads of side missions to complete if you want to, and the main story line is reasonably lengthy, probably coming in at around 12 hours.

It is an immersive game with a huge degree of customisation and playability. Bioware have including lots of interesting features such as parties; where each individuals level separately, and therefore, different stages of the game can be played differently depending on how you've decided to level up your characters.

My main grievance at this game would be the graphics. They are still very good, but as far as Bioware are capable, I think it was a little bit of a let down. Having said that, the game is very large, and you won't be disappointed with the number of areas and textures you see around the world.

As a whole this game is very good if you are into RPG's and Bioware have not let down on this game. it is very different to Mass Effect and other major games in the genre, but exceeds in its own right.

Definitely worth the £15 price tag
