Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle review

By shade_st_jude posted 30th July 2012

After playing So Blonde awhile ago- and rather enjoying it, despite the oh-so-many dumb blonde jokes- I thought this game would be just as enjoyable. Err, no. The voice acting gets REALLY grating after while, with most voices starting to sound pretty much the same. The graphcs and scenes are not bad, varying from beach scenes to a midnight graveyard. But this game holds your hand ALOT. Many areas look as though they offer many interesting things to click on and look at, but the majority of the time, you are only able to view objects that are relevant, leaving very little for the gamer to actually figure out logically. Far too many 'Oh, I can only click on this and that in this house. Well, the answer must be that then!' solutions. Was just barely worth the $18 I paid for this game when it was on sale. If you want a challange, look elsewhere. Yet if you are a gamer who likes to be shown EXACTLY what to do ALL the time, go for it. It's just a pity you can't resell downloads
