Borderzone review

Graphics: Old/out dated; the engine is old and it tells. 3/10

Gameplay: Interface is not well designed and gets frustrating after a while. 5/10

Story: Ok story but seems the typical post apocalyptical one, but with a fantasy theme added (sp think Apocalypse on a fantasy world rather than our own, which I will admit, is sort of something I have not seen often). 6/10

Issues: the game has a few bugs here and there, nothing major. I did experience some hanging occasionally like the reviewer behind but it didn't really bother me as my machine is older. 7/10

So over all, I'd give it a 2.5... but can't so 2 will have to do

so yeah, borderzone could have been an interesting game. its just that, its not. its got a sorta generic post apocalyptic fantasy plot with boring characters and some really awful translations. while at first it can be pretty funny it grows old after a while trying to figure out what the heck to do. also, on two different machines whenever i saved the game or exited to the main menu it would hang for a good 60 seconds. i thought it was locking up at first. i could find any fixes on the internet for this problem but it seems fairly common for an obscure game. for me, it was certainly not worth it. i give it a rating of a capital Bleh minus

Despite an appealing opening sequence this turned out to be a very poor game. The character creation was mediocre at best with no ability to change name or race and no information on what certain stats improve. Graphics and character movement were poor and by no means made up for the bad character creation.

The game interface is absolutely terrible (moving the character around is cumbersome), and I eventually un-installed it after a couple of frustrating hours.
