This expansion adds a ton of new stuff including more than 100 new ships! Considering AI War is already a huge scale game, these additions make the game feel even bigger (especially with the newly introduced Golem ships). AI has also been much improved making the game more challenging. Of course you should probably start with the base game first to get the hang of it before tackling this expansion. This type of game isn't for everyone, but if you liked the base game then you should absolutely get this, especially if you manage to get it on sale.
