I was actually a little bit surprised by this one, after reading 2 of the other negative reviews.
The game has a feel very similar to the SNES classic Earthbound (music and graphics) with game play elements similar to Rockstar's Bully. The game works as a repeating schedule that rotates through various mini-games: beat the bullies at soccer, flirt with the girl in the disco hall, fight the girl's boyfriend in the gym and cheat to pass the class. I imagine victory comes when the player succeeds at all of these tasks, which are actually pretty fun and kept me going through the schedule for probably 5 or 6 game days.
Most of the rest of the game seems to be a rotation of dialogue checkpoints, such as going to the dorm to see what you and your friends are doing next. When in doubt, there's a button on the bottom of the screen that works like the player's own twitter posts ("quest journal", if you will), using a lion instead of a bird as the post mascot.
There's a humorous level of detail put into the game that makes it feel fun to just be in, such as piles of trash, unique dorm decor, cheesy animations of people dancing, a market maze filled with various game art to explore and a solid soundtrack.
I highly recommend this game to anyone who's a fan of Earthbound or Bully. Just expect a indie-game that seems to have been made by one or two people over the course of a year or less.
